Set Up in Minutes, No Tools Needed
- 1Build the inner frame: join the white tubes with the small studs and white connectors.
- 2Open the house, set the white frame inside and fasten the hook-and-loop straps.
- 3Join the black base tubes, slide them into the slots under the house, add the corner connectors and feet caps, then fasten the straps.
- 4Lay the heated pad inside with its cover on and feed the cord out through the bottom cable hole. Place it somewhere sheltered and plug it into a GFCI outdoor outlet.

Is the heated pad safe to leave on outdoors?
It uses constant-temperature control and holds about 100°F under its cover. Place the house somewhere sheltered, plug it into a grounded, outdoor-rated (GFCI) outlet, keep the plug and connection dry, and check the cord regularly.
How warm does it get?
About 100°F (38°C) with the flannel cover on, and up to about 112°F (44.5°C) without it. There is no dial; the pad regulates itself.
Will feral or shy cats use it?
Many outdoor cats are wary of shelters with a single opening. This house has a front door, a side door and windows, so cats can see out and leave quickly, which helps cautious cats settle in.
How big is it? How many cats fit?
The house is 26 × 16.5 × 13.8 in (66 × 42 × 35 cm) without its feet, and about 19–20 in tall with them. It fits 1–3 cats or a small dog.
Can it stay out in rain and snow?
The shell is waterproof 600D Oxford fabric with rain eaves, and the floor is raised. In heavy rain or snow, place it under a porch roof, carport or barn overhang.
Is assembly difficult?
No tools are needed. Connect the frame tubes, fit the cover, slide in the heated pad and route the cord through the cable hole.
How do I clean it?
Unplug it first. Unzip and wash the flannel pad cover, and wipe the fabric shell with a damp cloth.
Does it need an extension cord?
The cord is 5.58 ft long. If your outlet is farther away, use a single outdoor-rated extension cord (look for a “W” rating such as SJTW) and keep the connection off the ground and covered.
Can I use it in a garage or indoors?
Yes. It works well in a garage, barn, shed or mudroom. The same basics apply: use a grounded outlet and keep the cord where pets can't chew it.
